Birmingham’s Bradford Health Services picks new CEO

Lisa Evans is the new chief executive officer of Birmingham-based Bradford Health Services.

The substance abuse treatment and recovery service has 40 facilities across the Southeast.

Evans most recently served as the corporate COO at Perimeter Healthcare, overseeing hospitals and facilities in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas. During her five years there, the company saw revenue growth of almost 20%.

She also served in executive roles for Universal Health Services (UHS), Strategic Behavioral Health and Hospital Corporation of America (HCA).

Evans has achieved several honors, including the Arkansas Governor’s Award, and was the first behavioral health CEO named to the Arkansas Hospital Association’s Board of Directors.

“The depth of this team’s experience makes Bradford the industry leader in respecting and supporting those who suffer from the effects of addiction,” Evans said. “Assuming the lead for Bradford is an honor. We will continue to practice client focused treatment while innovating service delivery to address the needs of those who are struggling to access care.”
